I would like to construct a front fence consisting of brickwork and metal panels, with a maximum height of 1.8 metres. Due to the natural slope of my land, the fence height will vary along its length. One end of the fence will be approximately 1.8 metres high, while the other end will be approximately 1.5 metres high. The variation in height is necessary to accommodate the sloping ground and ensure the fence follows the natural levels of the property. The proposed design will provide privacy, security and an attractive appearance while maintaining a practical and consistent fence structure. I respectfully request that Council consider and approve this proposed fence design, including the variation in height from approximately 1.8 metres at one end to 1.5 metres at the other end. Please advise whether a planning permit or any other approval is required for this proposed fence and whether there are any additional requirements I need to satisfy. I would be happy to provide a site plan, fence elevations, photographs or any other supporting documents required for Council’s assessment. Thank you for your time and consideration.
